Tali's getting more personality!

Here are some new photos of Tali "Mexicali." Most were taken in the last two weeks. The ones of her in the bathtub were taken last night. Enjoy!

Tali's action shot. She's a little excited in the picture

Tali drooling and laughing. It takes talent to do that at the same time.
She has so many expressions! I love it and can't get enough of her smiles.
Tali testing out the new highchair while watching her fav movie, Finding Nemo.

Bath-time is no doubt, her favorite. She could be cranky but chill right out when we put her in her tub!
Tali's hair get's out of control! So I usually always put it in a pony tail when we go out. This day I put it in pigtails. She doesn't look like she really cares.

We tried feeding Tali for the first time while Jen was here. She hauled the highchair all the way down for us so I thought we'd give her the privilege to see Tali's first feeding. She looks like she is enjoying it a lot more that she did. Right now she is still on formula. I think I will try solids again in a couple of weeks. She doesn't officially need it till she turns 6 months.

This is Tali after she got smacked in the face by a wave in Mazatlan. It took us both by surprise. But Tali didn't close her eyes in time and I'm sure salt water in the eyes isn't friendly.

Tali's Telling Stories

This is after Tali woke up from her nap this morning. She just started talking this much on Monday. Enjoy.

Puerto Vallarta

Joe and I went to Puerto Vallarta a month ago. We had a good time despite the humidity! Poor Tali was sweaty the WHOLE trip but she was a pretty good sport. We drove there and it took about 4 hours. It wasn't a bad drive until we got to the curvy two lane highway that took us through thick jungle, up and down a mountain. I have never seen jungle in my life. REAL jungle. The road would have been perfect for motorcycles, except that there was pretty heavy traffic. Cars were passing other cars when there was blind spots and no passing zones! It was pretty stressful. But we made it there and back safely because Joe has always been a good driver. He put up with me so well during the drive! I was pretty stressed out. Needless to say, I don't know if we'll do that drive again, anytime soon.

I couldn't locate all of the photos we took so here are a few of them:

The above two pictures were taken from a restaurant that advertised, "The best view in Puerto Vallarta." I would say it was probably correct. Puerto Vallarta is located right next to a mountain. This restaurant is located on the side of the mountain. It is a beautiful town with lots of beach, shopping and eating!
This is the road to the restaurant. This picture doesn't give the road justice. It was really steep and the cobble stone was uneven. It felt like we were out 4-wheel driving!
This is Tali after a full day on the beach!
This is Tali the beach babe. We were sitting under a big umbrella on the beach listening to the waves! Even Tali was enjoying great view!

This is a close up of Tali dreaming next to the beach.

Overall, it was a pretty good trip! I am glad we went. I hope next time we'll be able to spend a little more time walking around. I really wanted to get into the part of town were only the well traveled tourists went. We drove through it but couldn't find parking. This weekend we are planning on going to Mazatlan. It is supposed to be a better highway! I can't wait.
